Importing A.U.R.A.: The Algorithm of Peace to Your EReader
📚 Kindle (Amazon)
Amazon Kindle doesn’t natively accept EPUB for direct sideloading, but there are workarounds:
Option 1: Send to Kindle
-
Download Amazon’s “Send to Kindle” app (available for desktop, iOS, or Android).
-
Open the app, then drag and drop your EPUB into it.
-
It automatically converts the EPUB into Kindle’s format (AZW3/KFX) and syncs to your Kindle device/app.
Option 2: Email to Kindle
-
Find your Send-to-Kindle email address (log into Amazon → Manage Your Content and Devices → Preferences → Personal Document Settings).
-
Email the EPUB file as an attachment to that address.
-
It will appear on your Kindle after syncing.
🍎 Apple Books (iPhone, iPad, Mac)
Apple Books accepts EPUB directly.
-
On Mac: Double-click the EPUB, and it will open in Apple Books.
-
On iPhone/iPad:
-
Upload the EPUB to iCloud Drive or send it to yourself by email.
-
Tap the file → choose Share → Copy to Books.
-
It will import into your Books library and sync across devices.
-
📖 Google Play Books
Google allows you to upload EPUBs directly.
-
Go to Google Play Books.
-
Click My Books → Upload files.
-
Select your EPUB file and upload.
-
It will appear in your Play Books library on all devices with Play Books installed.
🔖 Kobo
Kobo eReaders and the Kobo app both support EPUB.
-
Via Kobo Desktop app: Connect your device with USB → drag the EPUB into Kobo Desktop → sync to device.
-
Direct transfer: Plug Kobo into your computer, drag the EPUB into the “Kobo eReader” drive → eject → it appears in your library.
📗 Nook (Barnes & Noble)
Nook devices and apps support EPUB.
-
Connect your Nook to your computer with USB.
-
Copy the EPUB into the My Documents folder.
-
Disconnect, then find the file in the Nook’s “My Files” section.
📲 Generic EPUB Readers (e.g., Moon+ Reader, Aldiko, Calibre, PocketBook)
Most independent reader apps support EPUB:
-
Android/iOS: Open the EPUB directly → choose “Open with [Reader App].”
-
Calibre (desktop): Drag the EPUB into Calibre → transfer to any connected eReader.
✨ Quick Tip:
-
If you want cross-platform compatibility (Kindle, Kobo, Nook, etc.), tools like Calibre let you convert EPUB to MOBI/AZW3/PDF.
-
Some devices/apps don’t accept DRM-protected EPUBs (only DRM-free).
